September Membership Lunch - Wichita 

ACEC of Kansas President Jeff McKerrow is inviting you to a lunch meeting in Wichita on September 14, 2021, from 12:00 PM-1:30 PM. All members statewide are invited to attend this and all membership lunches around the state!

This is where we discuss issues of concern to ACEC of Kansas and the engineering industry. The ACEC of Kansas Board, as always, is interested in getting feedback from you and this lunch affords that opportunity.  We are honored to have both Steve Hall, ACEC National Senior Vice President for Advocacy, and Gary Janzen, Assistant Director of Public Works at the City of Wichita speaking. 

ACEC National Senior Vice President for Advocacy Steve Hall will join us to give an update on activity at the National level, including an overview of important legislation and current advocacy efforts.

Assistant Director of Public Works at the City of Wichita Gary Janzen, P.E. will join us to give an update on several items:

• Public Works & Utilities Staffing Update/Responsibilities
• Financial outlook for public infrastructure design and construction – 5 year forecast
• Review of current procurement procedures
