August Membership Lunch - Aggieville Redevelopment 

ACEC of Kansas President-Elect Jeff McKerrow is inviting you to a lunch meeting on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 from 12:00 pm -1:30 pm at the Bluemont Hotel, 1212 Bluemont Ave, Manhattan, KS 66502.  All members statewide are invited to attend this and all membership lunches around the state. 

This is where we discuss issues of concern to ACEC of Kansas and the engineering industry.  The ACEC of Kansas Board, as always, is interested in getting feedback from you and this lunch affords that opportunity

Manhattan Deputy City Manager Jason Hilgers will be presenting a look back and a look forward at Aggieville redevelopment. Hilgers will cover the past five years of study, the implementation timeline, a review of active projects, a look at financing, economic impact, and much more.

Gene Taylor, Director of Athletics at K-State, will share an overview of K-State Athletic Facilities and KSU athletic activities. Taylor's strategic plan for the department places an emphasis on the student-athlete experience, while his leadership in navigating the COVID-19 crisis, in addition to enhancing the department's already-strong diversity and inclusion program, has been well-documented.
