The American Council of Engineering Companies of Kansas (ACEC of Kansas) is dedicated to the promotion and development of the highest standards of professional competence and ethics. The association focuses on the following tasks:

• promoting the private practice of professional engineering as such practice is a vital social and economic influence in the community;
  

• providing a forum for the discussion of problems peculiar to engineers engaged in private practice and a vehicle for action on those problems; and
  

• encouraging good relations with the public, clients, other engineers in all areas of practice, and other fields of endeavor.
