Engineering Excellence Awards
Don’t forget to enter ACEC
of Kansas’ 2010 Engineering Excellence Awards Competition. Each year American Council of Engineering Companies of Kansas conducts its Engineering Excellence Awards competition. The statewide competition recognizes innovative and outstanding examples of engineering.
The Engineering Excellence Awards are broken down into
ten categories:
There
are several changes to this year’s application and they are described in
detail on the ACEC website. For an entry form, additional information on
the application process, and changes in procedures, please visit

and click on the link to Engineering Excellence Awards. All guidelines are the same except only project notebooks will be used for
state judging. You do NOT need to
submit the Envelope Containing Submission Materials or the Photographic
Display Panel if you do not intend to enter the national competition.
Submissions to ACEC of Kansas need to be in our office by December 4,
2009. This allows time for the entries to be judged locally and mailed
to ACEC by their deadline of January 8, 2010.
The
state entry fee is $100 ($200 for non-members). If your entry is a state
winner, we will notify you on how to submit the national entry fee ($975 for
ACEC members and $3000 for non-members).
