AASHTO and the Federal highway Administration have created a Technology Information Group (TIG) to develop information and promote the use of various technologies in highway construction. The TIG is currently looking into the use Automated Machine Guidance (generally GPS systems). AASHTO has asked use to survey our members to find out the extent of AMG use in highway construction.
