Hello ELET ‘learners’,
I am excited to be working with you in September on the topic of Performance Management. In order to maximize the value, I need you to be prepared with a few things BEFORE the class.
1) Have identified a position or opportunity that you want to create a job description for. Ideally it would be someone you really need, that will be working for you. If that is not possible, you want it to be a role that you can answer the following about;
a. What are the key drivers of SUCCESS in the job?
b. What are the SKILLS needed to do the job well?
c. What are the CAPABILITIES of the ideal candidate?
2) Come to the meeting with a list of things that YOU feel make your company a “top company to work for”.
3) Come to the meeting with any information that you have and are willing to share about what your company is doing to create and foster learning.
